Installation

Installing Marsha on your Discord server is quick and easy. Follow this guide to get started in just a few minutes.

Prerequisites

Before installing Marsha, you need:

• Administrator permission on the server to configure Marsha

Step 1: Add Marsha to your server

Click the button below to invite Marsha:

1. Select the server where you want to add Marsha
2. Review the permissions
3. Click Authorize

Step 2: Configure permissions

Marsha will request permissions. We recommend granting all permissions for full functionality.

Required Permission

• ADMINISTRATOR

This permission allows Marsha to perform all moderation actions and manage server settings effectively.

Important

Without Administrator permission, some features may not work correctly. Make sure Marsha has the necessary permissions to function properly.

Step 3: Initial Setup

Once Marsha is added:

1. Check that Marsha appears in your member list
2. Run /help to see available commands
3. Go to the dashboard at dashboard.marsha.app
4. Log in with Discord and select your server

Step 4: Basic Configuration

Configure Basic Settings

1. Mute Role: Create or select a role for muted members in Settings
2. Log Channel: Choose a channel where Marsha will send moderation logs
3. Language: Select your preferred language (EN, FR, ES, etc.)

Enable Essential Features

1. Auto-Moderation: Enable basic rules (spam, bad words, invites)
2. Logs: Activate logging for moderation actions
3. Sanctions: Set up automatic escalation levels

Verification

Test that Marsha is working correctly:

Visit dashboard.marsha.app and verify:

• You can log in
• Your server appears in the list
• You can access server settings

Troubleshooting

Marsha doesn't respond to commands

• Check that Marsha is online (green status)
• Verify Marsha has permission to read and send messages in the channel
• Try /help - slash commands should always work

Can't access the dashboard

• Make sure you're logged in with the correct Discord account
• Verify you have Administrator permission on the server
• Clear your browser cache and try again

Missing permissions error

• Ensure Marsha has Administrator permission
• Check that Marsha's role is positioned above the roles it needs to manage
• Verify permissions haven't been overridden in specific channels
