Account Settings

Manage your personal Marsha account including your security settings, active sessions, and preferences.

Access: Dashboard → Profile icon → Account Settings


Account Information

Profile

View and modify your basic information: email address, display name, avatar, and linked Discord account.

Change Email

  1. Go to Account Settings → Profile
  2. Click "Change email"
  3. Enter your new email
  4. Confirm via the email link

Change Password

  1. Go to Account Settings → Security
  2. Click "Change password"
  3. Enter your current password
  4. Enter your new password
  5. Confirm

Security

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Enable 2FA to secure your account.

  1. Go to Security → Two-Factor Authentication
  2. Click "Enable 2FA"
  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
  4. Enter the 6-digit verification code
  5. Save the recovery codes

Recovery codes:

Keep your recovery codes in a safe place. You'll need them if you lose access to your authenticator app.


Active Sessions

View all devices where you're logged in.

Information displayed:

Device and browser, approximate location, IP address, and last activity.

Remote logout:

Click "Disconnect" next to a session to log out from that device. Useful if you think your account has been compromised.


Login Notifications

Receive an email with every new login to your account to detect unauthorized access.

Enable this option in Security → Notifications.


Linked Accounts

Discord

Link your Discord account to access your servers on the dashboard.

To link:

  1. Go to Account Settings → Linked Accounts
  2. Click "Link Discord"
  3. Authorize access

To unlink:

Click "Unlink" to remove the connection. You'll lose access to your Discord servers on the dashboard.


Preferences

Dashboard Language

Choose the dashboard interface language (different from bot language on your servers).

Available languages: English, French, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish.

Theme

Choose between light theme, dark theme, or automatic (follows your system preferences).

Notifications

Configure which notifications you receive by email: security alerts, important updates, newsletters, and weekly reports.


Delete Account

You can permanently delete your account in Account Settings → Danger Zone.

What will be deleted:

Your user account, your active sessions, and your personal preferences.

What will be kept:

Your Discord server configurations (they belong to the server, not you), logs and infractions (for server data integrity).

Warning

Irreversible action

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure to transfer ownership of your servers before deleting your account.
